Ingredients
2cupsfresh or frozen fruite.g., strawberries, blueberries, mango, or watermelon
1cupice cubes
1/3cupsparkling water
2teaspoonsfresh lemon or lime juice
1teaspoonhoney or agave nectaroptional
Instructions
Rinse and chop the fresh fruit if you're using fresh varieties. Measure out 2 cups of the fruit.
In a high-speed blender, add the fruit, ice cubes, sparkling water, lemon or lime juice, and honey or agave nectar if desired.
Mix the ingredients at high speed until you achieve a smooth, slushy texture. If needed, add more ice or sparkling water to achieve desired consistency.
Pour the slushie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
