- 1 1/4 pounds fresh salmon fillet skin removed and chopped
- 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for cooking
- 4 buns optional
- Mixed greens optional
In a large bowl, combine chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, dill, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve the salmon burgers on whole wheat buns with your choice of toppings or over a bed of mixed greens for a low-carb option.
