Raspberry Vinaigrette is a fruity dressing that brightens up your greens!

Is it just me, or is there something magical about the sweet-tart combination of berries and vinegar that makes for the perfect summer dressing?
Balsamic vinaigrette is great, sure—but when you add berries? That’s next level!
I love pouring Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette over just about everything, but sometimes, it’s nice to mix things up. That’s where this gem-colored raspberry vinaigrette comes in, adding variety to your salads when you need it most. If I’m eating salads every day, I need them to keep my tastebuds happy. Switching up ingredients certainly keeps things interesting.
After all, salads don’t need to follow the same formula, and the same goes for dressings! That’s why I know you’ll love this raspberry vinaigrette—it strikes the perfect balance between sweet and tangy, using fresh raspberries and maple syrup for a natural sweetness. It’s light, summery, and full of flavor!

Is Raspberry Vinaigrette Healthy?
Yes! Raspberries are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber—a nutritional powerhouse! The olive oil adds healthy fats, and using maple syrup keeps this dressing free from refined sugars. Many store-bought dressings use high quantities of processed sugars to make them, so this one is a better-for-you option that you can feel good about.
Why Red Wine Vinegar?
Red wine vinegar is one of my absolute faves for homemade dressings. It’s especially perfect for this raspberry vinaigrette. Red wine vinegar brings a tanginess and depth to raspberries’ natural sweetness. Unlike white vinegar, it’s made from fermented red wine, which brings a complex and far less harsh flavor profile.
Don’t have any red wine vinegar on hand? No worries! Balsamic vinegar is a worthy alternative if you’re okay with its slightly richer (and sweeter) flavor.

How To Make Ahead And Store
This is a great make-ahead recipe that stores well in the fridge. I recommend storing it in an airtight container for 5-7 days.

Serving Suggestions
This raspberry vinaigrette pairs beautifully with mixed greens like this fruity Watermelon Feta Salad. You could also use it to add an extra dimension to this Middle Eastern inspired Fattoush Salad. Try using the raspberry vinaigrette as a marinade for Grilled Chicken. Or heck, it even works as a dip for Shrimp Tempura!
