Why get it from the grocery store when this Homemade Pecan Butter Recipe comes together in only fifteen minutes, with only three ingredients?

Once you start spreading this homemade pecan butter on your morning oats, on toast, or adding it to your post-workout smoothie, you’re not going to be able to stop! We’ve all heard of peanut butter, and some of us have even tried almond or cashew butter, but have you ever had pecan butter before?
It’s sweet, nutty, and buttery, and the flavor is reminiscent of a fresh-out-the-oven pecan pie. This sweetness and richness come from the naturally high oil content of the pecans, which results in a much smoother butter compared to other nut butters.
It comes together in fifteen minutes and only requires three ingredients, so put the store-bought stuff down and get blending.

Is Homemade Pecan Butter Healthy?
If you know me at all, you’ll know that I’m a fanatic about many things, one of them being nut butter. I love spreading it, I love dipping snacks into it, and I love just eating it straight out of the jar. Not only is this nut butter delicious, but it’s also loaded with protein, fiber, vitamin E, magnesium, potassium, and healthy fats. This pecan butter is definitely a healthy and nourishing choice!

Are Nut Butters Important in a Balanced Diet?
For those of us who don’t have nut allergies, there are so many reasons why nut butters are a great addition to a healthy, balanced diet.
Aside from the health benefits mentioned above, nut butters provide a concentrated source of energy, healthy fats, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, making them a valuable addition to various meals and snacks. They are nutrient-dense, and varieties like pecan butter also contain vital antioxidants that help combat inflammation in the body.
No matter which variety is your favorite, incorporating these plant-based butters into your diet can keep you feeling full for longer, provides an excellent source of nutrients, and makes for a delicious and healthy treat between meals.

How to make ahead and store
This nut butter will last up to a month when stored properly. I recommend using a rubber spatula to scoop it into a container, then seal it so that it is airtight. Place it in the refrigerator and chill until you’re ready to spread. Give it a hard mix with a spoon before using it in case it separates while chilling.

I love to drizzle it over a fresh slice of High-Protein Banana Bread or Keto Banana Bread. It also goes great as a garnish on these Shortbread Cookies, these Brownie Cookies with Walnuts, or these Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Chunks. You can also dip fresh fruit into a bowl of pecan butter, like apple slices, grapes, orange slices, or even these Baked Bananas.
Finally, simply spread it on some Air Fryer Toast and enjoy!
