Ingredients
1 1/2poundssirloin steak,cut into bite-size pieces
Salt,to taste
Black pepper,to taste
1tablespoonolive oil
4tablespoonsunsalted butter
1shallot,minced
5clovesgarlic,minced
Fresh parsley,chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, working in batches if necessary, and sear until browned on all sides, about 1-3 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Remove from the skillet temporarily.
Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and minced shallot. Cook until softened.
Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
Return all steak bites to the skillet, toss in the garlic butter to coat evenly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
