Ingredients

  • 1 tube chilled sugar cookie dough about 16.5 ounces
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries washed and dried
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 medium banana sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 12-inch pan with parchment paper and press the chilled dough evenly into the pan. Bake for 13-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Remove the pan from the oven and let the crust cool completely on a wire rack.
  • In a bowl, beat together the cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled crust.
  • Arrange the blueberries in one corner to represent the stars, and form stripes with the sliced strawberries and bananas to mimic the American flag.
